2 hrs. closing up the aileron, fitting it and sanding the filler.

Riveted a couple of the leading edge holes (closest and one in the middle) and checked the trailing edges.  Looked good, so I re-riveted the whole aileron.  Most of the holes were reamed out to a larger rivet size (4mm).

I managed to push down the top of the aileron skin at the leading edge... But, it still catches.  I think this is a non-issue since I don't think the aileron deflects that much.  I'm going to defer this for now until I find out from the factory how much the aileron deflects down.

But, by a miracle, the trailing edges line up perfectly!

Sanded the touch-ups I applied yesterday and it looks perfect.

Me in front of the right wing!

NEXT TASKS:
  1. Finish sanding rivets (OK, I have a few left to do) and put wing on shelf.
  2. Finish one of the composite tips of the elevator.
  3. Fill rivets of elevator.
  4. Rivet the one on the left wing's step rib that needs special handling.
  5. START ON FUSELAGE!
