1 hr. on the interior.
Right rear wall piece needs some trimming, mostly to narrow it.
Trimmed and glued in place. The Gorilla Construction Adhesive works perfectly for these kinds of pieces.
Side of the stick box. Trim or...?
...just put it under the floor carpet? Well, I trimmed it back a little and also cut out a notch for the Velcro.
Glued down and in place. Easy.
Same deal on the other side.
Pilot side done.

Well, I was going to work on it tonight, but I couldn't get the garage out of the 40's (8.3 C) in there and that's just not fun. 😒
But, this morning I did check out the center parachute box carpet piece and I do think I'll re-glue it using some Toluene-Free Barge. I think if I had something pressing it on all sides for several minutes when I put it down it would have worked with the Gorilla, but I didn't have a good way to do that.
Did you see the latest issue of Kitplanes??? 😁😎 Just got this today. I've already read the article online and it's super positive on the TSi. And why not, the Slings are amazing! Not that I'm biased or anything... 😊

1 hr. on the interior.
The other side of the parachute box went on easily without any trimming.
This center piece needed a bit of trimming, but notice that one end is angled to accommodate the roof-line, so orient it correctly.
Glue on...
And put in place. Since this piece has multiple close turns I'm not sure I like how it's not sticking as easily as the other pieces. I may pull this tomorrow and use contact-type glue which would stick it for sure (a less toxic version of the Barge though...).

Was away in New York City this past weekend with some friends, so no plane work, but I did get to look at some airplanes and enjoy the other fun stuff of my home "town". :-D
Have to like this place because I like the Dutch! :-)
Went to the Intrepid Air & Space Museum, which is an aircraft carrier docked at a pier in Manhattan. Here's the Navy's version of the F86 Sabre.
T-38 Talon.
The first prototype of the Space Shuttle, Enterprise.
Got to go inside a Concorde!
:-D
Me wanting to spin up the engines....
Relatively small plane!
What's better than a Reuben sandwich and matzoh ball soup at Katz's deli??
Super busy place!
The very famous Bitter End in Greenwich Village. Oldest rock club (1961) in NYC, so many of the famous have played there.
My artsy shot of the first group that played. ;-)

1 hr. on interior.
Getting a rough sense of how the pieces fit together around the parachute box.
Is that rib covered with something or do I need to paint it?
The ceiling piece fits well (just a test fit for now as I'll be putting insulation under it).
The left side piece needs trimming...
One advantage of being on the shorter side - I can literally sit in the luggage area (I was really good at hide-n-seek when I was a kid! 😁).
Doesn't sit flat against the back so some trimming is required there.
Cut the angle and slide it back is the plan. Don't take more than necessary off as there's no extra material to make it around that side of the box.
Perfect. Don't have more pictures of the necessary trimming but more was needed around the front and top.
Glue on!
And it's in! The piece that goes around the front will cover that small gap at the bottom.

Since it was too cold today to heat the garage I just did half an hour inside putting carpet on one small piece.
This is the cover over the stick assembly. At the moment I can only find one of the pieces for the two covers. Small piece with bends so I used clamps and pieces of wood to hold it in place.
I actually spent more time tonight making this no-knead bread. Mixed the dough yesterday and baked it tonight. Easy and delicious! 😎
Recipe. I let it rise in the bowl for 24 hours.

3 hrs. on the interior.
I have a WiFi cam in my garage so I can look at the plane any time I want. From anywhere. I like that. 😎
The Gorilla Construction Adhesive is a total success. That carpet is not coming off.
Time to work on the carpet for the rear seat upright. Measure twice, cut once... Marking off the cutout for the center channel.
Cut once... 🤓
My growing collection of trimmings... Keep those separate from the many other pieces still to be put in...
Leaving space for the center channel cover. It doesn't look it, but that's straight across.. 🤓
A little blurry, but it fits just right.
Gorilla smeared on and ready to go.
In place and the bench is perfect for holding down the fold on top.
Looking good.
Another view.
Looks like some more trimming...
And in place! The fit with the outer edge isn't critical since I'll be putting soundproofing and carpeting there, so it will be covered up.
Looking more and more comfortable.
