Quick half hour installing a shield for the brake line grommet.
End result after cutting the heat shield (it's the largest of all the sizes available on Aircraft Spruce), drilling for the rivnuts and installing the rivnuts.

3 hrs. on the firewall.
Finding the right size terminals for the starter contactor case ground wire.
Squeezing until the stripes line up with the yellow dot (for the yellow terminal).
Done....
And in place. I ended up changing the edge grommet shown here to be a longer piece later on.
Wire to the 22,000uF cap. Notice that I "clocked" the terminals to fit without twisting.
When I installed the all the terminals on a post, Deoxit'ed it and tightened it down, I put on torque seal.
Cap ground wire on.
Master switch wired up...
Limited space for tightening in this case...

Making the shunt sense lines. This fits just right.
Both connected (put Deoxit on the screws)...
Figuring out where to put the grommet and shield for the fuel pump wires. This looks about right.
Cut out in the heat shield done...
With the engine mount in the way it takes some special drill bits to get in there...
One rivnut in it's time to properly locate the other holes.
Two rivnuts in and started the hole for the grommet.
All done!

1.5 hrs. on firewall.
Given the depth of the locknuts (and the thickness of the ring terminals) I decided that my 2.5" threaded rod wasn't long enough. So, I made one about 3.5" long. Probably overkill, but better too long than too short. All the washers except the ones up against the locknuts are regular AN6 washers. The two up against the locknuts are lockwashers. This is as per the AC43 spec. The engine-side locknut is an all-metal one and the cabin-side one is a nyloc.
Applying the Deoxit to where the inner nuts will go.
In place. Will tighten things down once everything is attached.

Still didn't have the energy to do any real work, but I did do a little more organizing... 😁
Various parts I had recently ordered from Aircraft Spruce... I know I'm going to have a boatload of extra parts when I'm done... Maybe I'll build another plane when I'm retired, so I guess I can save the parts... Don't tell my wife... 😜
I watched an excellent webinar last night on how to determine whether it's a good idea to turn around in the case of engine failure on takeoff. No matter your experience level I highly recommend it! It was given by Brian Schiff, based on research he and his father (Barry Schiff!) did over the last 40+ years. I'm a huge fan of Barry Schiff's writing - I believe he's been a columnist for AOPA Pilot since the 60's, which must be a record. His Proficient Pilot boxed set of books is a favorite of mine.
