Thanks to Peter Calley who forwarded me the specs for the max aileron deflection (22 degrees) I now know that I'm totally fine with my aileron.
Neutral:
22 degrees down - No problem!
Just starts to rub at 40 degrees down.
For the up deflection I got to just over 22 degrees before the aileron hits the trailing edge of the wing skin.
Just some final rivet sanding tonight and tomorrow the wing goes on the shelf.
